ABOUT ME

I'm a joyful mix of identities and passions, each adding vibrant colors to the canvas of my life. First and foremost, I proudly embrace the title of Mama, reveling in the joys and challenges of raising little ones. My days are often filled with laughter, learning, and the beautiful chaos that comes with motherhood. My wanderlust knows no bounds, and I'm an avid traveler, always eager to explore new cultures, cuisines, and landscapes. My journeys have enriched my life with unforgettable experiences and a broader perspective on the world. I am equally an avid plant obsessor, with greenery filling every nook and cranny of my space, and I find solace and rejuvenation in their presence. I am also an ardent lover of all things healing, whether through nature, connection, or self-care practices. My life's journey is a tapestry woven with these threads, and I am continually driven to weave them together in a way that promotes growth, balance, and well-being for myself and those around me.

YOGA FOR LIFE

I never thought I was the right type of person for yoga. There is an image that I felt I never fit (this happens a lot in life, right). I am so happy that I overcame my self doubt around my place in yoga because it has transformed my whole life. I have learned to challenge, heal, smile and laugh at myself. I have also learned that practice does not make perfect, but learning to enjoy the journey is so fulfilling. I practice yoga with respect and joy in my heart and thank the yoga ancestors, for sharing their wisdom and guidance with us.

HOW I GOT HERE

My path has not been linear yet I have always been drawn to building connections and helping people grow and have a passion for fostering positive change in individuals and communities. With a background in both biology and psychology, I bring a unique perspective to my work. My academic journey has led me to hold degrees in these two diverse fields, allowing me to explore the interconnectedness of the mind and body. As a therapist, I was dedicated to helping individuals and families navigate life's challenges and discover their inner strengths. In addition to my therapeutic role, I've had the privilege of serving as a faculty member, sharing my knowledge and lived experiences with those around me. Furthermore, held the role of Executive Dean of Equity, advocating for diversity, inclusion, healing and social justice within educational institutions. I believe in the power of education and empathy to create a more liberated and equitable world, and I'm committed to making a meaningful impact in the lives of those I work with and the broader community.

My Approach

I believe that joy and healing are essential components of transformative change. I take a holistic approach to coaching, focusing not only on professional development, but also on personal growth and healing. My coaching sessions are designed to help individuals and organizations achieve their goals, while also improving their overall well-being.

 

There is no better expert on your life experiences than you! I empower the people I work with to take a proactive approach to their personal and professional development, and I provide them with the joy strategies and support they need to find joy and success.
